Terms and conditions

These terms outline how I work and what you can expect from therapy with Revu. They are here to create clarity, safety and mutual understanding.

If you have any questions at any point, please feel free to ask. I will also go into more detail about these terms, privacy policies and confidentiality within our 15-minute consultation and first session.

Therapy sessions

Therapy sessions are offered on a one to one basis, either online or as otherwise agreed. Sessions usually last 50 minutes unless stated differently.

Therapy is a collaborative process and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. My role is to support, explore and work alongside you, not to provide advice or quick fixes.

Fees, including terms around cancellation and contract ends, will be outlined in our contract.

Suitability and boundaries

Therapy may not be suitable for everyone at every stage. If I feel that your needs would be better supported elsewhere, I will discuss this with you and help signpost you to appropriate support.

Therapy with Revu is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your GP, NHS 111, A&E, or emergency services.

Your privacy is extremely important. Everything you share in sessions is treated as confidential.

There are a small number of exceptions where confidentiality may need to be broken, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to you or others, or where required by law. If possible, this would always be discussed with you first.

A full confidentiality contract will be given to you during our first session for you to review and ask questions.

For businesses, our confidentiality agreement will be outlined before we begin working together. There will be an agreement for both the company and each individual I work with.
