Hi, I’m Jasmine,

A UK Based Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

My approach to supporting you

My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I use a mix of different theories, techniques and ways of working, rather than sticking to just one, I adapt my approach to each person, allowing you to be at the centre of the work at all times and I’m always guided by you and your level of comfort.

I tailor sessions to suit your needs, and we regularly check in together to make sure the process feels helpful, supportive and right for you. If it doesn’t, I’ll make changes.

You’re always in control of your sessions, think of yourself at the wheel as the driver, and me, the helpful passenger who can support you along the way.

I’ll ask you questions at the start of the process about what kind of therapist you believe you need, what you’d like to get out of our time working together, then we can take it from there.

Inclusivity and respect

I am a firm ally of the LGBTQ+ community and I am committed to offering an inclusive, affirming and respectful space for everyone I work with. I do not just accept this community; I passionately support them.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including different cultures, ethnicities and religious beliefs. I recognise that identity, faith, culture and lived experience can play an important role in how we see ourselves and the world, and I approach this with care, openness and respect.

I use she/her pronouns and I will always ask the people I work with how they would like to be addressed. Your identity, beliefs, boundaries and individual needs will be respected at all times.

My aim is to create a space where you feel safe, understood and able to be yourself, without judgement or assumptions and I will always invite you to challenge me if you feel I have not stuck to this in any way.

Finding the right fit

Every therapist is different, and finding the right one for you is one of the most important parts of the process. Therapy works best when it feels like a good fit, and that sense of connection really matters.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, safe and personal. My role is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of what you are experiencing and decide where you would like to go next.

Some people I work with, enjoy a lot of questions and exploration, some, simply want to be listened to. It’s my role to work out how best you communicate and to work with you on this, not against you.

What matters to me in therapy

At the heart of my work is connection. I believe that when we feel genuinely understood and accepted, meaningful change becomes possible, and you’re in charge of that change with my support. Change, though, isn’t always what’s needed and often people come to me just to feel heard, or to try and understand a situation in their life.

There is no right or wrong reason to start therapy.

My aim is to help you find clarity, self-compassion and the confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Additional experience

  • Alongside my private practice, I work weekly as a therapist at SHE UK, a charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse. This role has given me extensive experience working with trauma and supporting clients through complex and sensitive experiences.

  • Fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist, which allows me to draw on a wider range of therapeutic tools when appropriate and helpful for the individual.

Working with individuals and businesses

Alongside individual therapy, I also work with organisations that want to support their teams in a more meaningful and human way. I understand the pressures that modern workplaces can place on people, particularly in fast paced or high expectation environments.

I create bespoke therapy and wellbeing packages for businesses that want to support employee mental health, reduce burnout, and help people feel more confident, supported and resilient at work. This can include one to one therapy sessions, ongoing wellbeing support, and tailored input that reflects the unique needs of each organisation and its people.

My approach is always thoughtful, confidential and grounded in real therapeutic support, helping organisations care for their teams in a way that feels genuine rather than tokenistic.
